Planmeca does not recommend updating macOS Catalina or Big Sur to Monterey or Ventura until further notice. macOS Monterey currently has widely known compatibility issues with Java Virtual Machine that may cause unexpected behaviour including Romexis crashing. We are monitoring the situation and will publish guidance and fix when one becomes available.
There has been an issue with some Reco PCs going to sleep. This can be prevented by logging into the Reconstruction Server's BIOS and disabling “Deep Sleep Control” in the Power Management settings.
- Enable “Block Sleep” to prevent unit from entering sleep mode.
- Set Active State Power Management (ASPM) to “Disabled” at all times.
Users with Romexis versions 6.1 to 6.2.1 may experience a Java based system vulnerability. See this page for more information on how to correct this and more details about the vulnerability.
