ProMax Partial Image and Rotation
When a ProMax takes a partial image, and only does a partial rotation, the first thing to check will always be to see if AutoFocus has been turned on inadvertently. If training has not occurred on AutoFocus, and normal usage of the machine is to line up the patient using the layer light, the unexpected stop of the rotation arm will be cause for concern.
The unit is expecting the rotation to continue, after an adjustment is made, and then a full rotation will occur by pressing and holding the exposure button again.
To disable this, turn off AutoFocus.
- On the old style Color-GUI, this is done by clicking “AF ON” on the main page.
- For a ProTouch GUI go into the Wrench Menu > Select Program at the bottom > Select Program Features > Select 2D Panoramic > Switch Autofocus to Off
